Retriever is an image viewer program. Using this program you can load your images and preview them. The program offers windowed and full screen view modes. Retriever supports the following formats: jpg, jpe, jpeg, jif, bmp, dib, png, gif, tif and wmf. But Retriever is not just an image viewer, it has some extra functions. If you add several images, it will create a thumbnail contact sheet automatically. To see the image in a larger size you should move the mouse over it. This contact sheet can be saved, printed out or you can create a slideshow using these images. A slideshow can be in automatic or in a random order mode. Creating the contact sheets you can manage your images: copy, delete, move or rename. Also you can sort images by size, name, label, path, creation date and so on. Moreover, the program provides you with the editing tools. You can enhance, rotate, flip, crop, reduce colors, change brightness, contrast, correct gamma, sharpen your images. Besides, you can create a beautiful mosaic from the selected images. The “Dupe Detective” option allows to search similar images to the selected image or in a directory. Also you can create and save an unlimited quantity of image databases to organize all your images.
